Any of you who have been to Red Lobster know that the best thing they have going is their cheese biscuits. This recipe pretty nearly matches what they serve, and it’s really easy to make. They aren’t very good as leftovers though, only when they are fresh from the oven.
2 cups Bisquick
2/3 cup milk
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup oleo (I used shortening)
¼ tsp garlic powder
Mix Bisquick, milk and cheese. Bake on cookie sheet. Drop by the teaspoonfuls 2-3 inches apart. Bake at 425-450° for 8-10 minutes. Then melt oleo and garlic powder. Pour over biscuits hot from the oven.
