4-Layer Dessert

¾ cup margarine
1½ cups flour
½ cup chopped nuts
1 container Cool Whip, divided
1 cup powdered sugar
1 8-oz pkg cream cheese
2 pkg instant pudding
3 cups milk
Chopped nuts or coconut, optional
Mix margarine, flour, and nuts together. Press into bottom of 9x13” baking pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Cool.
Combine 1 cup Cool Whip, powdered sugar, and cream cheese. Spread over crust.
Mix together pudding and milk. Spread over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate dessert until ready to serve. Top with remaining Cool Whip and nuts or coconut as desired.
