Kim has some of the best recipes! This one Shannon learned and she is now the great breadstick maker at our house!
1 T yeast
1 ½ c. warm water
2 T sugar
¾ tsp salt
3 c. flour
3-6 Tbs melted butter
Garlic salt
Parmesan cheese
Mix yeast, water, sugar and salt and let proof. Add flour and knead 3 minutes. Let dough rest for 10 minutes then roll out. Spread with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic salt and Parmesan cheese. Try substituting cinnamon and sugar for garlic salt and cheese. Cut into strips and bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes.
(Roll out right on tray – double batch makes 1 ½ - 2 trays of breadsticks. Cut w/pizza cutter before baking.)
