Fudge Nutty Bars

1 cup butter
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
2½ cups flour
2 cups oats
1 cup chopped nuts
1-12 oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 T butter
For crust, cream together butter, eggs, vanilla and brown sugar. In separate bowl, sift salt, baking soda, and flour. Add oats and nuts. Add to cream mixture. Press 2/3 of mixture into 9x13-inch baking dish.
Meanwhile, for topping melt together chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Spread over prepared crust. Spoon the reserved crust mixture on top of chocolate and swirl it around with a butter knife. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
